Overview: It came to me in a
dream." These were the portentous words from the founder of Cyber-Ark as he
told us about his vision for an animation describing how their security
software worked. Hatchling Studios took the metaphor that he envisioned and
made it a reality. The final piece is an animation that provides a clear and
entertaining metaphor for how their software functions.
Creative:
Working under a tight budget, Hatchling laid out how we could best utilize our
time to create the best water and people. We created stylized "peg people" to
represent online users, and constructed a complicated world around them to
represent the internet and the inter-business vault.
Technical: Some of
the water shots took up to 3 hours per frame to render. Hatchling split the
shots into multiple passes to ensure that no render time was
wasted.
